The City of Montgomery has a contract with Cincinnati Pool Management, Inc. They hire only highly trained, certified staff.
The pool manager is a Certified Pool Operator (CPO). The CPO is recognized
nationwide as the leading standard of the swimming pool industry. The CPO
seal of approval is assurance to the owner and customer that their facility is
under the care and supervision of a trained professional. The Manager also
attends the Hamilton County Health District’s Food Safety Advocate Program.
All lifeguards are certified through the American Red Cross in Lifeguard Training, and First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer. They also participate in the City’s orientation training, on-site emergency training, and blood-borne pathogen training through the Cincinnati Pool Management Company.
Lifeguards and managers shall have the authority to discipline swimmers and
any and all other persons within the pool facility, within their best judgment
and sole discretion, consistent with the published rules, safety standards, and
employee manual.
