The Montgomery Public Works Department will again be providing a spring curbside bulk brush collection of brush and limbs. The spring program is scheduled to begin on April 13 and will be conducted over a five-week period. Pick up weeks are determined by regular trash collection schedules. Please have brush out at the curb by Monday morning of your collection week.

The City of Montgomery will again conduct Safety Village this summer for children ages 5 and 6 only. The first session is scheduled from June 15-19, 2015 and the second session will be presented from June 22-26. Registration begins April 27 for Montgomery residents and May 4 for non-residents.

A group of citizens have approached the City of Montgomery to consider replacing the current leaf collection program with a leaf vacuuming service. A list of frequently asked questions has been developed about the current leaf collection program and leaf vacuuming.

The Montgomery Fire Department is certified to teach both CPR and First Aid courses using the standards and criteria of the American Heart Association. These quarterly 4-hour classes meet on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
