Celebrate the harvest season with hayrides around the park, pony rides, crafts, and face painting. Montgomery firefighters will be serving coneys and other concessions. Kids can explore a smokehouse and a fire truck.

One-Stop Recycling Event is a Huge Success!

The City of Montgomery and the Environmental Advisory Commission wishes to thank all those who took part in it’s annual One-Stop recycling event held Saturday, October 20 at the Public Works Department located on Cornell Road.

A record setting 142 vehicles came to drop off various recyclable items.

Gas Inspections in Montgomery

Between September 16 and October 1, Duke Energy will be performing inspections on gas metering equipment and piping located inside buildings in Montgomery. These inspections are required by the US Department of Transportation and are necessary for safe natural gas pipeline operations. On average, an inspection should take approximately ten minutes to complete.

The Hamilton County Solid Waste District Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Drop-Off Day has been scheduled for October 4, 2014 from 8 am- 2 pm in Norwood, Ohio. The drop-off is free to all Hamilton County residents. Schools, businesses and churches are not eligible.

Fall Plant Swap Planned

Members of the Beautification & Tree Commission will host its 16th annual Fall Plant Swap on Saturday, September 27, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the City Hall parking lot. The free event provides an excellent opportunity for community members to share their divided perennials while selecting new garden varieties.
